Chainsaw Wood Sculpting

The creation of art with wood can be approached in two different ways.

The first possibility is a more conceptual one, in which you start out with ideas, images and a concept. First, the basics for form, space and size will be developed with a drawing, or even a model. In the next step, the sketches will be transferred from drawing to the log.

The other work approach is more emotionally and intuitively oriented. You begin to work with the wood immediately and develop artistic associations throughout your experimentation and further creation. You allow the arrangement of forms and the material to lead you closer to your theme in a personal and direct perspective of sculpture.

The workshop offers and assists artistic conception, spatial viewing and thinking, as well as the use of tools and machines.
