To pursue a degree in art is to face stiff competition right from the start. Creating a solid portfolio to send with the application to art school is not easy. Without portfolio classes and guidance it is extremely difficult to know the demands and prerequisites of the degree.

In the six-day long portfolio course, practical exercises and detailed discussions will take participants a step closer to understanding these demands.

Nude figure drawing, still life drawing and the fundamentals of art are the topics of the courses. Perspective, colour and composition are studied through specific exercises using the figure and objects. Anatomy, proportion and rhythm are covered. Qualified lecturers have taught these courses successfully over many years and are in constant contact with colleges and academies at which they also teach.
