The European Academy of Fine Arts Trier is a registered association and a recognized public utility. Members are the city of Trier, the county Trier, the University of Trier, The Technical College Rhineland-Palatinate- Division Trier, Sparkasse Trier, the Society for Visual Arts e.V. Trier, IHK and HWK. The work of the European Academy of Fine Arts is supported through funds from the Ministry of Culture, the city of Trier as well as the Nikolaus Koch Foundation, Trier.
Registration
The registration for courses has to be made in writing (mail,fax, email) and as soon as possible. It is tied to the entrance into the Academy. One can only book full weeks.

Course Fees
As soon as you book, we work for you. This creates costs. Please transfer you fees as soon as possible, latest however two weeks before the beginning of the course. Anyone paying late will be warned. The course fees are a package price for the complete course. Only during the summer courses and if someone participated for a shorter time, the fees will be calculated per week. Please note that longer stays become cheaper as in relation the administrative costs sink. The Academy passes these cost reductions on to the participants.

Deregistering and Canceling of Courses
If a participant can't partake in the course, please inform the Academy in writing. Depending on the point in time of the deregistration fees are charged according to the list below:

If no written deregistration is received, full course fees must be paid.
The Academy may cancel a scheduled course, if too few participants have registered. The participants are offered places in other courses as alternatives. If the alternatives are not to the participants liking, a full refund is issued. Further discussion is not possible.
Instructors
The courses at the Academy are lead by known artists both local and foreign. The announcement of a course with the name of a particular instructor is not a guarantee. Participants may not request a specific instructor.
Studios and Class Schedules
The workshops and studios are all in renovated room of the former abattoir at Aachener Str. 63. Courses usually take place Monday-Friday 8.30am-12 noon and 1.30pm- 5.00pm. Any changes can be found in the time schedule.
Work materials
Please bring your regular working utensils and your work clothing. For special materials such as clay, chemicals, furnaces, printing plates, printing colours, stones, photo paper etc. a flat fee will be charged. In the material shop you can get general artist supplies such as brushes, paints, drawing utensils, watercolours, pastels etc in the morning. The specialty stores in Trier are well stocked for extra buys. To not lose time it is suggested to check supplies and equipment before arriving at the Academy.
Lodging
If you would like to have help finding lodging please fill in the specific area of the application form. The Academy will try, with out legally committing, to help find you a room.

Dining
On the campus of the Academy there is a cafeteria. Furthermore the refectory of the Technical College Schneidershof is open to participants during lunch.
Parking
There are a limited number of parking spots on the Academy campus.
Further stress-free parking possibilities in the surrounding area of the Academy are provided to you by the Academy at the beginning of the courses.
Price per parking spot: 8,- Euro per week.
Accompanying Program
During the summer course different accompanying programs take place. This included such things as lectures, festivities, the instructors' exhibition as well as studio tours with presentations of student work. The design of the tour is done by the specific courses. No legal responsibility will be taken for exhibition pieces. All events of the accompanying program will be announced in a timely fashion.

L' Académie Européenne des Beaux-Arts de Trèves
propose un vaste programme d'enseignements. Un grand nombre d'ateliers
et une diversité de cours hautement instructifs sont mis
à la disposition des élèves. Les disciplines
enseignées permettront aux étudiants de différents
niveaux de développer leurs connaissances et leurs aptitudes
artistiques. Quant aux débutants, ils recevront une formation
de base et une orientation méthodique leur permettant d'accéder
progressivement aux processus de la création artistique.
Le travail en groupe dans les ateliers et l' encadrement par les
artistes enseignants contribueront à mieux stimuler et à
mieux guider les élèves à la maîtrise
des différentes disciplines.
Trèves, la plus ancienne ville d' Allemagne, entourée de vignobles, riche en monuments historiques qui vont de l' antiquité à l' époque moderne, dotée de musées remarquables est éminemment propice aux activités artistiques. Une gamme variée de spectacles et de concerts pourront également agrémenter votre séjour à l' Académie Européenne.
Matériel de cours :
Les étudiants disposeront gratuitement du matériel courant (presses d' imprimerie, encres produits chimiques, vernis etc.). Ne sont pas compris dans les frais des fournitures telles que plaques de cuivre, pinceaux, couleurs, papiers photographiques, papiers artistiques etc.

Logement :
Veuillez remplir la fiche de réservation qui accompagne le
formulaire d' inscription. Des adresses de chambres vous seront
communiquées soit par le syndicat d' initiative, soit par
le secrétariat de l' Académie Européenne.
Frais des cours :
Le prestataire sera facturé en fonction du nombre de jours
passés à l' Académie. Les prestations des autres
cours durant l' année en dehors des cours d' été
ont des prix fixes.
Horaires :
Du lundi au vendredi de 8.30 h à 12.00 h et de 13.30 h à
17.00 h. Les samedi et dimanche l' Académie reste fermée.
